Tackle Football Information

WELCOME TO BRENTWOOD BLAZE YOUTH FOOTBALL!!

 

Our goal is to provide families with a fun football experience that emphasizes player development within a safe and competitive environment.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding player safety or division placement.

 

 

 
Football Divisions
Player age as of 7/31/25:
Pee Wee - ages 5/6 
C Division - ages 7/8 
B Division - ages 9/10 
A Division - ages 11/12 
 
Season fee $300 
 
Included: uniform jersey & team practice jersey after evals (to keep)
shoulder pads, helmet & game pants (to return). 
 
Players need: cleats, mouthpiece, practice pants & practice jersey for evals.  
 
2025 evaluations begin July 24, tentatively from 6-8pm. All divisions will meet Thurs/Fri and continue Mon-Fri the following week. Larger divisions may need additional time. Once teams are drafted, coaches choose practice nights. All practices are held at Crockett Park. Games are on Saturdays. "Home" games are at Crockett Park; "Away" games are at other TYSA locations.
 
Each division will have three competition levels (triples, doubles, singles). Players will be placed on a team within their division based on ability and experience levels.

July 24-Aug 1 Tackle evaluations
Aug 4-Aug 6 Evals continue (if necessary)
Aug 16 Jamboree & picture day
Aug 23 TYSA opening day
Oct 25 TYSA Playoffs
Nov 1 TYSA Playoffs
Nov 8 TYSA Championships
Nov 16 Year End banquet

AAA   140 BBB   115 CCC   90 PW        65
AA      130 BB      105 CC      80 Jr PW   60
A         120 B            95 C          75  
Only players at or under the above defined weight limits for their division will be allowed to advance the ball.

 


A SAFER LEAGUE = A BETTER LEAGUE

That's why we are committed, through National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS),  to make sure every coach in our program is certified and trained in fundamental aspects of football safety, injury prevention and injury recognition.
